Food For Reasons is the unique food brand of Wide Open Agriculture, an agriculture and food company transforming Western Australia’s Wheatbelt through diversified, regenerative farming systems.
Our aim is to rejuvenate the Wheatbelt, which is one of the world’s most critically endangered biodiversity hot-spots, as well as revitalise local communities and create inspirational, meaningful food!
How we are doing this ?
Food For Reasons is producing an ever-growing range of fresh, spray-free, delicious vegetables and herbs in a climate-smart shade house, located between Arthur River and Wagin.
To revitalise ecosystems and communities you need people, but to attract people, you need jobs. The farming system that requires more jobs than anything else is intensive horticulture – and that is why we built our amazing shade house in the Wheatbelt.
Our growers work hard to support a resilient and healthy growing environment, reducing the need for toxic chemicals and helping to regenerate and build soil quality.
